GUIDELINES FOR ASSISTANCE
Cancer Kids of San Joaquin County (CKSJC) provides assistance to any family who resides in San Joaquin
County and has a child in treatment for cancer or cancer related disease.
Families are encouraged to work through their social worker, who will refer the family to CKSJC for funding.
CKSJC currently has working referral relations with the following hospitals:
- UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital - San Francisco and Oakland
- Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford
- Kaiser Permanente - Oakland and Roseville
- Sutter Medical Center – Sacramento
- UC Davis Children’s Hospital - Sacramento
Patient must be 18 years of age or younger at the time of diagnosis.
CKSJC provides financial assistance every 6 months while the child is in treatment for cancer.
$1,800 every 6 months during induction, consolidation, radiation or surgery phase of treatment.
$800 every 6 months while in maintenance therapy.
